EXPLORE

NEVER A DULL MOMENT...

Walking

There's the 500 acre farm to explore but there's also an OS map in the huts and, as of 2022, a walk book. The nearest pub is about a 40 minute walk away and there's some lovely circular walks from the farm

Visit the nearby towns

There are some really beautiful towns nearby. Oxford is about 45 minutes away and is incredibly beautiful. There's Bicester Village if you fancy some shopping or Leamington Spa and Stratford-upon-Avon for independent shops and beautiful parks and rivers

Cycling

We have two lovely ex-post office bikes that you can hire. They have boxes on the front so pack a picnic and explore. You're also welcome to bring your own bike, we've even had guests arrive on bike before. Ask Jo for suggested routes, or check the walk book in the hut

Meet the animals

You can easily spend the day mooching around the farm, meeting animals and getting to know the village. Pigs, cows, donkeys and chickens are always keen for a chat. There's The Cake Shed in the village for the world's best brownies as well

Visit the Cotswolds

The Cotswolds is right on our doorstep. Visit Bourton on the Water, Stow on the Wold, Moreton in Marsh. Or pop to Jeremy Clarkson's farm shop, Daylesford or Cotswold Wildlife Park. It's all within a 40 minutes or so drive

Outdoor activities

Locally you'll find clay pigeon shooting, horse riding, boat hire in Stratford-upon-Avon or Warwick or visit some beautiful local farm shops. We think lounging in the hot tub also counts as an activity, you are outdoors afterall
