The hut is located in what feels like the middle of nowhere in the quintessential countryside village yet still close enough that within 30mins you can be at some of the Cotswolds' favourite spots. Everything you need is in the hut along with some extra comforts. We loved the little touches.
We'll be back soon and can't recommend Fat Pheasants enough.
We had a wonderful time staying in Dolly at Fat Pheasant Shepherd Huts. Having the whole meadow to ourselves was a real treat, really private and super safe for the kids. Jo is a great host with great attention to detail. We ordered a BBQ box and a few other bits which were wonderful in terms of quality and presentation, the whole set up is so nice- an instagrammers dream!
What a wonderful countryside retreat! We loved switching off and living the off-grid life with all the modern and luxe details of a boutique hotel.

There is so much to explore and the farm is the perfect bolt hole to make the most of getting outside. Dolly is completely secluded and private which is rare these days! A must is the food hampers which give you a real taste of the area where you are staying.
About us
The shepherd huts are run by Jo, with the help of her three year old son, Raffi. Jo grew up on the farm and wanted to share this wonderful place. Her brother, Tom, built the huts himself and Jo annd Tom’s parents live and work on the farm, so it’s a family business through and through. The farm is over 500 acres and mainly arable, with some renewable energy sources, there's also lots of lovely animals to meet. We really hope you'll love the farm as much as we do.
